THE CENTRE FOR GIRLS OFFERS FREE AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Are you interested in a special and safe place for your daughter to meet friends and have fun while she learns more about herself and the world around her?  The Centre for Girls, located at 105 W. Sligh Avenue, is a free community Drop-In Program designed specifically for girls between the ages of 10 and 18 who live in Hillsborough County.

The Centre for Girls offers activities that address the unique needs and concerns of adolescent girls while providing a safe and open environment. Activities help girls learn skills for living a healthy and positive lifestyle.  The Centre for Girls is a program of The Centre and is a great place to hang out, make friends, learn and grow!

ABOUT THE CENTRE – The Centre, a nonprofit organization, serves over 2,000 individuals each year with programs such as individual and family counseling, employment preparation for women, substance abuse treatment, out of school programs for girls and major home repairs for seniors.  Since its founding in 1977, The Centre has served over 60,000 people in the community and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
