Executive Director Beth Ficquette Retiring

on Monday, July 02, 2012. Posted in News

After 25 years of dedicated service, The Centre’s Executive Director Beth Ficquette is retiring. Beth, who joined The Centre in 1987, is pleased that she has been able to devote much of her life to helping people improve theirs.

Board Chair Dee A. Brown said: “Words cannot describe how much better off our community is because of The Centre under Beth Ficquette’s vision and leadership.  We will all miss Beth and I want to thank her for her 25 years of unselfish service and passion.  She has left an indelible print on the Centre and she will be greatly missed.”

Beth said that while she looks forward to retiring, she has mixed feelings about leaving The Centre.  “I will miss the staff the most. They are the best. Not only are they professional and skilled in their jobs, but they have compassion and ‘mission’.”  Beth credits Centre staff with playing a major role in her job satisfaction.  “While I haven’t worked directly with consumers, it has been most rewarding to see and hear about the impact Centre staff has had on so many individuals and families through the years.”
