An Energy Consultant at American Choice Energy is responsible for reaching out to prospective customers to help them select a supplier for their energy and reducing their rate on their electric bill.

Position Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for taking outbound and inbound calls from customers regarding products and services. Additionally you will be providing general information regarding questions and concerns. This is a fast paced environment ideal for a person who wants a stable workplace and good people to work with!

What you’ll be doing You will use your positive attitude, your caring nature and your top-notch customer service skills to make an impact on your customers’ day. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Talking to customers over the phone to inform them about our programs, educating them and getting them enrolled if it's a good fit.
  • Help to resolve their questions or concerns
  • Accurately document and update customer records in the computer system
  • Remain calm and helpful even when dealing with upset customers
  • Escalate customer complaints and/or calls to your manager when necessary
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to your manager on ways the company can improve
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your management team

*Schedule and Working Environment:

  • Must be available to work Monday thru Friday 9am to 6pm. Dress code is business casual
