Money to start a business comes from two basic sources: equity or debt. Equity is an investment in the business by you or by a partner (or stockholder). Debt can come from private sources (family) or from formal ones (banks). The most common sources of financing include: Personal Resources, Family and Friends, Banks, including SBA Loans, Creative Sources & Bootstrapping, Private Investors or Angels, Venture Capital Firms.

This seminar will focus on all these issues in order to help you make the right decisions when thinking about how to finance your business.

Facilitated by:

linkinupdateBraxton Williams has been with Wells Fargo Bank since 2009. He began his tenure with Wells as a credit manager. This consisted mainly of helping customers refinance their home and auto loans. As a credit manager, he learned how to  help many people with different situations qualify for conventional lending. His next job with Wells Fargo was as a  personal banker/licensed banker. He attained his series 6 and 63 licenses which allowed him to work with customers  not only to help restructure debt, but also to help plan for the future with investments and retirement accounts. In 2013, he switched from the personal/retail banking side to the business arena. His current role is a relationship manager for  business banking. In this role he focuses his efforts towards helping a portfolio of business owners with credit needs,  deposit accounts, treasury management, merchant services, payroll services, insurance services, and much more.  Most of the clients in his portfolio have gross revenues between $2 million and $25 million.
