date-for-webMeditation is a means of transforming the mind with techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, and a calm seeing of the true nature of things. By engaging with a particular meditation practice you learn the patterns and habits of your mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being.

Facilitated by Gwen Hanner who is a Florida licensed mental health counselor and an expert registered yoga teacher.  She has been practicing yoga and meditation for 30 years and has been a full-time psychotherapist and hypnotherapist in private practice for 25 years.  In the last several years she has integrated Mindfulness meditation into her therapeutic approach.
