The Centre for Women During the Coronavirus

In an effort to ensure the health and wellness of our staff and clients, The Centre for Women building and The Centre for Girls will be closed to the public. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus situation and will keep you informed of our re-open date.

In the meantime, we are taking the following steps:

  • To the extent possible, staff will be holding virtual meetings and counseling sessions.
  • Our Construction Services division will be continuing business as usual in compliance with CDC recommendations because some of our clients are in the at-risk population.
  • Staff who are at high risk for the Coronavirus have been encouraged to work from home over the next couple of weeks.
  • We are postponing our Waves of Change fundraiser. Your support is even more critical to our operations now.
  • We will continue to share updates online and in our newsletters.

This year's Waves of Change is POSTPONED.

On March 29, 2019, The Centre for Women honored financial guru Suze Orman with the Helen Gordon Davis Leadership Award and local trailblazer and philanthropist Paddy Moses with the Waves Award at the 2019 Waves of Change Leadership Lunheon.

Thank you to our dedicated Waves of Change committee members, sponsors, and attendees for their generous support, which allows us to empower women in Tampa Bay both personally and professionally.

Enjoy the photos and video from the event!
